We believe Organizational Design is fluid in nature. Static organizations may work well in highly-streamlined functions such as operations, customer support, accounting or finance operations. But where the initiatives touch many business functions, challenge status quo, have company-wide impact or involve elevated risks, conventional organizational design will fail.

For these complex situations, we propose a changing organizational design approach that evolves over the course of a multi-year initiative until the function stabilizes or reaches a maturity level of sustenance.

Every company is unique across these factors, and all of these items also change overtime. What is important is that the defined organization and the business functional ownership / reporting is something that works for your company. From our experience, the initial design is good for about 18 - 24 months after which it needs to be reevaluated and realigned.

Talent Management

Our approach to talent management is one that promotes Intrapreneurship. We view every employee of a company as a potential Intrapreneur who is capable of taking ownership, initiative, and risks while bringing ideas and solutions for collective problem solving and improvement of the company.

However, not all employees start as Intrapreneurs.
